20 Years of Service
A lifetime of public and volunteer service has been important for William.
"Real service isn't about bragging and posting on social media about giving a sandwich to a homeless person. That's self serving and vain. Few people would know about genuine service.
Real service is about genuine care, compassion and kindness for people, animals and our planet. It's about who we are as a person and as a culture.
I have been able to affect real change, bring smiles to faces and make real differences with these positions - to make our community a better place.
My political values are moderate.
My decisions are based first upon what is good for our community.
We don't have red and blue potholes.
We have Sacramento potholes.
We don't have red and blue homeless neighbors.
We have homeless Americans.
While we have our own ideals, we have common goals, and differences and disagreements should not be negative or about conflict. These are opportunities to learn and understand each other - then do what's best for our neighborhoods. We have to work together to make our communities better."
